Effect of tensile conditions on the structures and propertie

The atmospheric boiling dyeable cationic dyeable polyester preoriented yarn (ECDP-POY) was heat treated at different drawing ratios and temperatures by dynamic thermal stress instrument. The samples after heat treatment were tested by differential scanning calorimeter and wide angle X-ray diffraction. The results show that the thermal stress of ECDP-POY increases first and then decreases with the increase of the tensile temperature at 1.0, and reaches its maximum at 105 C. At 1.6 drawing ratio, the thermal stress decreases rapidly with the increase of the tensile temperature, and then slows down when the temperature reaches about 95 C. With the increase of drawing temperature, the crystallinity of the sample increases gradually. At the same drawing temperature, the crystallinity of the sample stretched by 1.6 times is obviously higher than that of the sample stretched by 1.0 times. The research results can provide some reference for the selection of ECDP drawing process.
